Stephen McMullin

Stephen's career has centered around alternative credit and special situation opportunities traditional financial institutions are poorly positioned to underwrite — situations often originating from legal disputes, distress, structural complexity or contested ownership.

Prior to founding Fulcrum Point, Stephen was a co-founder and Managing Partner of Banyan Ridge Capital Management (+325MM AUM), a credit-oriented asset-backed finance hedge fund focused on legal claims investing. Prior to Banyan Ridge, Stephen was a Director at Brickell Key Asset Management (+400MM AUM). Stephen started his career as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he focused on U.S. and European microstructure and related principal investments.

Stephen is a licensed attorney and a member of the New York and Washington, D.C. Bar Associations. He serves on the Board of Regents of Harris Manchester College, University of Oxford.
